Our two main consultants – Craig Salt and Tanya Gawthorne – are both strong strategic and systems thinkers with a shared love of nature. Craig has a mining and consulting background with extensive sustainability and natural-resource-management experience. Tanya has a public service background with vast public health and policy experience.

Workshop Facilitation
We believe most people want to contribute and ‘do the right thing’. Many of today’s biggest challenges are ‘wicked problems’ with no clear right answer. Well-designed and facilitated conversations can help groups of people to discover and passionately pursue better ways forward.
Strategy
Development
Good strategy can benefit the staff, stakeholders and owners of any organisation. In today’s complex world, leaders often struggle with competing priorities and constant change. Strategy that engages the hearts and minds of people from all parts of an organisation can create ingredients for success including understanding, commitment and collaboration.
Strategic Support
Generating a clear compelling strategy is only the first step in delivering real progress on the ground. Successful implementation generally requires ongoing support to ensure strategic initiatives are well scoped, adequately resourced, diligently managed and regularly monitored. In some circumstances, that support can be most effectively provided from outside the client organisation.
Deskop Research
In an increasingly complex and rapidly evolving world, reliable research is an essential input to informed decision-making. While AI is making it quicker and simpler to trawl through various information sources, there remains no substitute for an experienced human eye and sharp human brain to validate and analyse inputs to identify relevant key insights.
Report Writing
At the end of a strategic planning exercise or in situations where rigorous defensibility is required, clear and concise reports can play an important role in mobilising the support of internal and/or external stakeholders. Writing with purpose and clarity is a unique skillset best applied away from the hustle and bustle of modern organisational life.
